Army Corps of Engineers - Honolulu District awarded contracts valued at $272.6M

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Honolulu District is reporting that it has awarded 685 contracts totaling $272.6 million in fiscal year 2010. More than $147 million of the amount went to small businesses, according to a statement.

Notable contracts included an $8 million to Watts Constructors LLC for taxiways and parking at Hickam Air Force Base, a $9.7 million award to Syska/Nan JV for repairs at Tripler Army Medical Center and a $15.4 million contract awarded to Ledcor Construction Hawaii LLC for work at Helemano Military Reservation.
